About Grace
Hi, my name is Grace. I’m a former nationally ranked junior tennis player. I’m also a former nationally and internationally ranked senior ITF player women’s 35’s singles. I have captained and played on many district, state and section championship USTA teams, including one that is currently the five-time consecutive IL State Champions and two time Midwest section champs. They are currently playing to land yet another opportunity to be the IL State champs. I’m currently working on developing my daughter’s game from Midwest section-ranked to a top nationally ranked junior. I taught tennis prior to becoming a mom and now trying to get back onto the court.

Teaching Style
I prefer, if possible, to develop an all-around player. I like to build around an individual’s strength, while reinforcing those areas that are weaker, hoping to develop a complete player. Lessons begin with a short court warm-up, progressing to full court hitting, then stroke development, concept development and ending with serves and/or point play, when appropriate.
Hobbies
Tennis, of course… also skiing, golf, horseback riding, sporting clays, to name a few. Like a wide variety of music and movies.
