About Jacob
Hi, my name is Jacob. I work as a part time tennis coach during the summertime. I started teaching in the summer of 2011 and also worked the summer of 2012 and 2013 during the months of May, June, July, and August. My job consists of teaching kids and teens between the ages of 8 and 20 the fundamentals and simple strategies of beginning tennis and developing hand-eye coordination. I feel that by becoming a teacher to these kids, I am someone of importance to look up to and learn from in their lives as their coach. Whether a private lesson with 1 or 2 kids, or a class with 30 I do my best to keep everyone organized and ready to go! I string racquets and give tennis lessons! I’ve been playing for almost 9 years now and was a Super Champ 18’s ranked top 40 in the state before moving into college tennis so I know exactly what you need to do to help your child excel to that next level!

Teaching Style
I am very patient with the younger kids but can also be very aggressive with the kids that want to really be the best in their age group. I have taught kids who have won state tournaments and went off to nationals in their age group and am prepared to teach any skill level.
Hobbies
Teaching tennis is what I do, its my passion and my only line of work.
