About Joe
I am the man on the left, in this picture with me is my dad (Scott) and my sister (Lexi). It is very possible my sister will be attending some of my lessons helping me out. My name is Joe as you can see and I am originally from Minnesota. In high school we went to the state tournament two years in a row in tennis (my junior and senior year). My junior year we got 4th place and my senior year we got 5th place. Me and my doubles partner had the most wins in my junior year on the team. I was elected captain of the team my senior year. I moved to Texas in 2010 to go to Dallas Baptist University and started up the first college hockey team for DBU, and also walked on to their Division II tennis team. I was voted hardest worker (Timothy Award) my final season on the team. My teaching experience was mostly at my uncle tennis club in Minnetonka, Minnesota where I helped out coach all ages over the summers when I was in high school and college.

Teaching Experience: 3 years

Teaching Style
My teaching style is based around footwork. With out it, you can not become a great tennis player. Depending how long the lesson is I will try to fit in all the shots: forehand, backhand, volleys, overheads, serves. I usually will start each session with a couple footwork drills to get the feet moving. The more I learn about the person I am training the more in depth my drills will become.

Hobbies
My free time is usually rounded around doing something active, running, playing tennis leisurely or playing or coaching hockey.
