About Justin
Hi, my name is Justin and I am a PTR certified instructor. I have over 17 years of tennis teaching experience. As a player I played #1 all four years of high school and was ranked in the top 10 in New England Lawn Tennis Association. I was a nationally ranked Junior Tennis Player ITF and played one year of scholarship tennis at the University of Hartford before getting injured. I am currently a private tennis pro in the Connecticut and Westchester areas. I previously worked in New York Tennis Clubs starting in 2012 where I taught juniors and adults both privately and in clinics. Over the years I have worked at George Garlands Go-Tennis, Robbie Wagner Tournament Training Center (5 years) and various other clubs throughout Long Island, NYC, Florida and Connecticut. I was also the Volvo International Grassroots Tennis Site Director for the Bridgeport, CT location and was the Branford High School Boys Varsity Tennis Team Co-Coach in Branford, CT. I also have teaching experience in Jamaic
a, Bahamas and Puerto Rico so I have seen just about every teaching situation possible.

Teaching Style
I utilize lots of live hitting, game tactics and we also slow down to improve and fix certain aspects of your game. I usually tell people to get involved in leagues and games. I am very strong in 10 and under and developer of Junior players by setting a strong base for future success. I can conduct high level tennis training and personally developed many sectional and nationally ranked Juniors in Long Island, NY. I motivate students by focusing on strengths while working on weaknesses in conjunction with defining clear goals and a plan for improvement.
Hobbies
I am a Jazz pianist and play music in clubs in the Tri-State area
