About Matthew
Hi my name is Matthew. I am a former 4 year collegiate tennis player with many years of coaching experience working at various tennis camps, tennis clubs, and country clubs throughout Long Island. As a junior player on the USTA circuit I was highly ranked in the eastern region, and nationally. I was also an All-State singles player for Plainview JFK High School. In my collegiate career I played the number one position in singles and doubles while earning conference player of the year in my final season. I have coached all levels and ages over the last 5 years. To travel to your location or to do group and semi-private lessons will be a slightly more expensive rate. For lessons during the winter, I can book court time at a few different indoor clubs. I look forward to speaking with you so I can answer all of your questions.

Teaching Style
I start from the ground up. My first lesson with a new student always begins with analyzing current technique and form. From there I make the necessary corrections or adjustments. I work in special footwork drills that I myself practiced as a high level junior and collegiate player.
Hobbies
My hobbies besides tennis, include, working out at the gym and spending time with my family and friends.
