About Michael
I grew up in New York just outside of the city where I played in numerous Junior tournaments. I decided to play two other sports in college as I knew I’d be able to play tennis for the rest of my life. I would always teach at some of the local clubs from the time I was in HS until the time I moved out to LA at age 24. Being in Santa Monica allows me to play & teach year round & I couldn’t think of any place i’d rather be.

Teaching Style
I usually structure based on what you want to accomplish.
Just wanting to get a workout vs. wanting to go further in to an open level tournament would be two completely different lessons.
If you tell me you strictly want to work on your backhand, then thats what we’re doing.
If you want to play sets, then we’ll play sets.
I have drills for pretty much every aspect of the game and keep it fun the whole way.
I also like taking a few minutes at the end to discuss what just went on because sometimes talking it out can be the most beneficial in a VERY mental game.
Hobbies
I play every sport I can get my hands on. I played basketball and lacrosse in college. I surf whenever I can along with golf, basketball, and am in the best adult baseball league in California.
I’m married and we just had our first daughter, so I enjoy her taking up any extra time I can get.
