About Sofia
My name is Sofy and I have played tennis since I was 12 years old, so for about 10 years. I was born and raised in Ecuador and came to the U. S. to play tennis and go to college. I just graduated as a Psychology major after 4 years of playing tennis for my university. As a team, we won the first East Coast Conference title in the history of the university and advanced to the round of 16 in the NCAA Division II National Championships. I have had coaches from different parts of the world and they all shared the ethical values that play an important role in tennis.

Teaching Style
I believe that coordination and precision are essential skills when playing tennis. Because of this, combining fun exercises with drills and hitting, could be good for people from beginners to expert players 🙂
Hobbies
One of my favorite things to do is dancing latin music, for fun and as a good exercise. I also enjoy cooking and since I came to America I have learned many new recipes.
