About Tanya
Hi! I’ve been playing tennis for about 15 years now, and now excited to work with others who are ready to learn a great sport. I played throughout high school and now hit with friends regularly. My coaching philosophy is centered around collaboration, so I work with my students to create a lesson plan intended to play off the strengths of both the student and myself. We can cover anything about the game, including ground strokes, volleys, serves, footwork, scoring, and rules.
I fell in love with the Bay Area as a UC Berkeley undergraduate, moved out-of-state for graduate school, but no back in the Bay for a research job. For fun, I like trying new food, spending time with friends, and staying active.
