About Tom
Serving the Charleston Metro Area, Tom offers a unique approach to tennis you can’t find anywhere else. The style of instruction uses Spanish (RPT), European (ITF) and American (USPTA/PTR) methods to improve your play. Each program is run at your own pace to build on the best style of tennis for you. Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the game or a seasoned league player Tom has something for you! Tom grew up with a racquet in his hands. He placed in several local and state tournaments before graduating cum lade with a B.A. in Psychology. Tom decided to combine his passion for tennis with his knowledge of psychology to train the mind as well as the body. He recently was invited to be guest instructor at the Sans Souci resort in Jamaica. Before moving to Charleston, SC. Tom previously worked as the head pro for the Omaha Clay Court Association in Nebraska. Currently, Tom is the head pro at the Arthur B. Schrimer Tennis Center located at the Bees Landing Rec. in West Ashley. If
