Can you believe that the Australian Open is only 30 days away? Don’t tell that to the ATP and WTA’s top players because most off them have been living it up this off-season. It’s always interesting to get a glimpse through social media of how our favorite stars live, but they really let loose when the last tournament of the season come to an ends. Here’s how the best tennis players in the world have been enjoying their time off.
Novak Djokovic just recently split up with his coach Boris Becker but he seems to be keeping things positive this off-season. Nothing says “I’m going to be okay” after a breakup then going out dancing with your girls.
Serena is a notorious party girl, which she has done plenty of this off-season, but she’s also found plenty of time showing up on the business side of things. Serena pulls some serious weight in any circle she runs in. p.s. And her reaction to the new Nike shoes is exactly the same as mine. Goddamn those are cool.
The surprise winner of the WTA Finals and 5th ranked player in the WTA, Dominika Cibulkova, has been on roll this year and based on her Instagram account, it doesn’t look like complacency has crept in. She has however, found some time to flaunt her stuff on the beach. Well deserved.
Stan Wawrinka seems like a bro. The kind of guy who doesn’t really want to go out and just wants to muck it up with the guys. Laying out for a sick grab in the pool while wearing ironic pink trunks only reinforces that thought.
The top ranked WTA player, Angelique Kerber, seems very down to earth and her off-season, that includes hanging out at her tennis academy, confirms that. While there’s nothing flashy about her, there may never have been a top player easier to root for.

Speaking of down to earth, Garbine Muguruza, would rather hang with the fam and try trendy brunch spots than party her off-season away. Also if you want some serious food envy, check out the rest of her Instagram account.
If I had gone through Gael Monfils’ Instagram account and knew what was going on I would have been disappointed.
Dominic Thiem may have been the breakout star of 2016 but he still finds time for the crew. His off-season has been all about the #lads.
Grigor Dimitrov is an interesting guy. While he did get is career back on track this past year, part of me feels like he’s more interested in posting pics on Instagram and being seen out with whatever older women he might be seeing at the moment, than he is about his time on the court. His off-season Insta didn’t exactly curb that suspicious but I guess you can’t knock a guy for letting loose.
You know who Johanna Konta is, right? The world’s most unassuming top 10 player in the world looks like she’s been staying active in unconventional ways.
