About Clayton
Hello, I guess this part where I tell you how much I love the game of tennis. I started teaching tennis for Sinn High School 6 years ago. I noticed one of the student not playing so well so I talked to his coach because I saw a lot of potential in him. He just needed few adjustments in his game and after a few months he rose from second string to the number 1 player on his team. I look to improve what a player has naturally and in doing so, boost their confidence. This helps a player play the game as it should be, with fun and enjoyment. Some player are not naturally gifted but the great thing about tennis is that hard work really pays off in the sport of tennis. I have a passion for this game and that’s why I have played so long.
Teaching Experience: 9 years
Teaching Style
I have 6 years experience in teaching tennis. I have taught from 10 year old children to adults. I teach to both beginners and advanced students. I have a knack for teaching conditioning, both mental and physical. To me these elements may help a player handle the important points and pressure during match play. I’m a short player but I have big serve that is part of my game. I like to help my students get comfortable with using the whole court. That being said, I have drills I utilize to help correct and develop proper form and stroke technique. I also implement warming up and cooling down techniques and use a medicine ball for core strength and balance.
Hobbies
My hobbies are stringing tennis rackets , I study law and making money online.. table tennis sometimes
