A Week of Tennis Weddings

Love is in the air, and tennis weddings are galore! Many professional tennis players took a little time off from the court this past week and tied the knot. It was definitely a week of tennis weddings!

Feliciano Lopez

Feliciano Lopez married Alba Carillo last Friday in Toledo. It’s official, those blue eyes are definitely off of the market now. After the ceremony, the two walked under a tunnel of tennis rackets created by friends and fellow players such as David Ferrer, Fernando Verdasco, and Marcel Granollers. After the occasion, he tweeted about his excitement, ending with #MarriageWorks, an homage to Andy Murray’s happy marriage and tennis success.

Tomas Berdych

Feliciano Lopez’s wedding came right on the heels of Tomas Berdych’s wedding earlier in the week. He secretly married model Ester Satorova. The only picture of the bride and groom is from this beautiful and sweet tweet by Berdych of the two holding hands.

Lukas Rosol

Lukas Rosol, whose biggest claim to fame came when he took out Rafael Nadal in the second round of Wimbledon in 2012, said “I do” to Czech TV news presenter Michaela Ochotska in Prague early last week.

Congratulations to all of these happy tennis couples! We wish them all the best, and hope they experience just as much success as Andy Murray after his own wedding! We can’t wait to see all of them back on court at the US Open!
