About Alejandro
I played two years of college tennis at a community college in Riverside. Unfortunately after an injury I had to take time off before transferring to a four-year university. I began coaching at 19, and I have coached at a country club in my home town since then. During that time I have coached multiple 14- and 12-and-under teams to sectionals. Aside from coaching at a country club I have coached at Nike tennis camps for two years. I have a passion for tennis and would like to coach at a high school or college.
Teaching Experience: 3 years
Teaching Style
I am fit and able to hit with players so I like to work on high-percentage tennis, usually with a semi-western or western grip for the forehand along with a two-handed backhand and continental volley grip. Unless told otherwise I like my players to drill for the first 30 minutes, then we can work on live-ball drills.
Hobbies
I play basketball and I like to rock climb along with going to the gym. I also enjoy a good book and a movie.
