About Cathrine
Hi, I’m Cathrine and I have been a USPTA Professional level 1 certified instructor since 2004. In 1993, I began teaching tennis at my local club in Sweden. My tennis accomplishments earned a scholarship to Charleston Southern University in Charleston, South Carolina, where I was captain of the women’s tennis team and played both singles and doubles. I earned Big South Conference Team awards three times and was voted the team’s Most Valuable Player and won the Sportsmanship Award. Following graduation, I worked as an assistant pro for the Mt Pleasant Recreation Department. While in Washington D.C., I managed clinics and private lessons at American and Catholic universities. I have taught tennis to junior and adult players of all levels and established tennis programs throughout Europe, including my native Sweden, Albania, Romania and Malta.

I use a feel-based approach, which lets the players discover the game for themselves and allows them to personalize their tennis style.
Hobbies
I also enjoy fitness and rock climbing.
