About Charles
Hello, I’m Charles. I teach all ages, both recreational and competitive. Most of my students are new to tennis or intermediate players. I have taught at the YMCA, CCAC Adult Tennis, and a local summer program. I am PTR Certified, MTMCA Pro Certified and Etcheberry Certified in Tennis Fitness.

Teaching Style
My teaching style is relaxed and positive with some humor mixed in. Learning should be enjoyable and not filled with pressure. I don’t care if you spray balls all over the court (I may make a funny face at you in jest) but you WILL get better as you gain confidence. I work well with kids and have a lot of patience with them (one mother commented ” I don’t know how you can do it.”)Lessons go at the pace of the students. I emphasize finishing the stroke which is probably the most important item.
Hobbies
I enjoy fishing, movies, playing tennis of course, go-karts, and having a good time with people.
