About Franco
I have been coaching at Salvadore Park for one year and have 10 years of coaching experience. Born in New York, I returned with my family to our native Peru at age 4. In 2005, I returned to New York where what commenced as a part-time tennis coaching job became a full-time profession when I was “bitten” by the immense passion for teaching and developing players. I coached at Lake Isle Country Club and Rye Racquet Club where I worked with junior tennis players, many who ranked as top juniors in the country and worldwide. I also coached adult leagues that won national championships. I moved to Miami a year ago. I am certified by the USPTA and am a member of the USTA High Performance Coaching Staff. When not coaching, I enjoy spending time with my wife and dog and tasting the vast cuisines South Florida offers.
