About Jack
Hi, I’m Jack and I played tennis at Eastern Nazarene College. The summer of 2008, I joined the Woodridge Lake tennis staff and fell in love with teaching tennis. In 2010, I took an assistant coaching postion at Palm Beach Atlantic University, and worked with the NCAA Div. II men’s and women’s tennis teams. During my time there, the tennis program took home two of the very few NCAA titles in the history of PBA athletics. I was PTR certified at the professional level in 2009. I spend summers teaching outdoors at Woodridge Lake, but you can also find me teaching indoors at the Farmington Valley Racquet Club and Pinewoods Health and Racquet Club during the winter season.

Teaching Experience: 5 years

Teaching Style
There is a time and place for feeding balls and it should not be the foundation of a player’s learning experience. My style of teaching builds off of live-ball drills. I will use demonstrations and feeding to develop technique, however live ball is a real application of the technique and must be practiced.

Hobbies
I enjoy adventures, traveling, hiking, mountain biking and ski racing.
