About Jose
I started playing tennis when I was 8 years old. I was state champ, regional champ singles and doubles and top 30 when I was 18. I started coaching when I turned 18 and I’ve been coaching for 8 years. I have worked with two state champs, one regional champ in singles and one in doubles, one singles kids cup champ in Mexico and a doubles kids cup champ in Paris. I’ve been working with different top academies in Mexico, whose students range from 18 to 21 years old and in July 2010, I started my own academy on the border of Texas working with more than 70 players until June 2014 when I decided to come to the United States. I have experience on the USTA circuit and work with two ZAT champs, two super champs, and with a few super champ players. I am a passionate person about everything I do, especially tennis. I am looking to travel, meet new people, make connections and have different experiences. I am an IRONMAN and I know what it takes to get to a good level in any sport, which is why I am a good motivator and I push my players until they accomplish their goals.
