About Adam
Thank you for viewing my profile. I am a Division II collegiate tennis player and was team captain my senior year at Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana. I have been playing since I was 4 and have been instructing tennis since I was 16. I am very diverse in my teachings and am willing to adapt to each player’s wants and needs. My ability to break down a player’s game can be seen by the use of technology and my description of their strokes, fundamentals and game play. Please feel free to contact me this summer beginning May 10 and I will be glad to work with you and/or your kids.

Teaching Experience: 7 years

Teaching Style
I can teach special serve styles including spin (slice or top spin) and flat. I also can work on their strokes by comparing their fundamentals side by side with professionals (video). I emphasize consistency and repetition. When people say “practice makes perfect,” that is what they mean by it and that is what I believe in. My lessons are structured to tailor to the needs of the player but basically goes as follows: warm-up (5 min), ball-feed (5-15 min) fundamental, special skill, form work (25-40 min), live play (15 min).

Hobbies
Tennis, sailing, hockey, soccer, lake sports (skiing, wake boarding)
