About Zalina
Tennis has been the center of my life since I was 9. During my junior year I was ranked No. 70 in singles play in the Russian Federation tennis rankings. I was invited to play on a full scholarship for California State University, Sacramento, NCAA Division I, the No. 30 ranked tennis program in the country. Being able to play with ranked schools like Stanford, UCLA, Berkley andUSC helped me gain skill, confidence, and thereby achieve a national ranking as high as No. 3 in doubles and No. 37 in singles.
Teaching Experience: 7 years
Teaching Style
I was taught by the top coaches in the country and I use their approach with my students, which never lets me down. First of all, it’s about routine and efficient training. Second, to be a successful tennis player you need to have a proper technique, be physically strong and mentally tough. Those are the three major things that I work on with any of my students. Depending on player’s strengths and weaknesses, I design a training program that significantly improves his/ her performance.
Hobbies
I love to travel and explore new places.
