About Taylor
Hi, my name is Taylor. I played #1 singles for my high school all 4 years. I also played many USTA tournaments and got to as high as #3 in the state of Utah. I currently play for BYU-Hawaii’s tennis team on a half scholarship. I’ve played 2 years there so far. I started teaching 4 years ago privately and also for Pleasant Grove City. Im also the assistant coach for the girls/boys High school teams at PGHS.

Teaching Style
I build on the basics. I focus more on preparation and hitting through the ball. Once the student knows how to hit, then i like to focus on match strategies and improving footwork. My lessons depend on the skill level and prior experience of the student. For a complete beginner I teach them both forehand and backhand with emphasis on low to high and hitting through it. For more advanced players, I focus on tuning up their strokes and teaching then footwork and strategies.
Hobbies
Football, basketball, golf, ping pong, soccer. I play the guitar and drums. I love reading.
