Roger Federer Withdraws From The 2016 French Open

Roger Federer, the 17 time Grand Slam champion, has pulled out of the French Open because he is not 100% recovered from a back injury. See what Federer had to say below on his Facebook page.

The last time Federer missed a Grand Slam tournament was the 1999 US Open. That sort of longevity is stunning but at his age he has to think about his season as a whole. Maybe he realizes his best chance at another Grand Slam won’t be at the French Open.
